Which languages can I practice?
English (US, UK, Australia and Canada), Spanish (Spain and Mexico), French (France and Canada), German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Tamil, Indonesian, Malay, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese and Vietnamese. The instructor explains in any of these languages — you pick yours.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Word Wise Voice runs in the browser, on your computer or phone. Just allow the microphone.
What counts as time used?
Each plan has a monthly quota. What uses it is every exchange: you speak, the character replies and the instructor comments. Leaving a conversation open without talking, picking scenes or re-reading corrections uses nothing. In the app you see the percentage already used and how many days of practice still fit in the month. The Free plan gives you about 5 minutes of conversation a month.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. A subscription can be cancelled at any time and stays active until the end of the period already paid. Session packs do not renew.
What happens to my voice?
Your voice is used only to transcribe what you said; the audio of your speech is not kept. The character and instructor lines are kept as audio for up to 7 days so you can replay them, and remain available as text afterwards. The conversation transcript is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete any conversation whenever you want. Details are in the Privacy policy.
